Overview

The general name for the fabric used to filter impurities in liquids or gases. Because of its different uses, each with its own characteristics, generally has the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, friction resistance, high tensile strength. It is used to separate floating or suspended solids in gas or liquid and can be divided into many types, such as filter gas, dust filter cloth and filter cloth. The materials used vary depending on the filtering application. Cotton and nylon yarns, polyester yarns, vinylon yarns, and other filaments commonly used in latitude and longitude are used. The density of warp and weft yarns varies depending on the type. Generally, plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave are used for special purposes. The filter cloth is made of a cylindrical cloth made of a double-layered structure. The plain fabric has a small pore size and can trap fine impurities. The twill and satin weave fabrics have a large pore size and can be selected according to the use of the filter fabric.

Woven filter cloth is often used for wet filtration. Filter cloths generally do not require bleaching and dyeing. Some types of products need to be heat-set or brushed and other finishing processes. Filter cloth is widely used in textile, chemical fiber, chemical, pharmaceutical and other industries.
