Pakistan has exported 115,000 tons of cotton in this year

The domestic cotton market in Pakistan remains stable. Although the demand for textile mills is weak, the ginning mills still maintain a strong offer. In recent days, there have been several hundred packages of new flower transactions, and the delivery price is Rs. 8700-8900/maund.

Sindh and Punjab provinces are currently offered at INR 8000-8800/maund (113.60-125.00 cents/lb).

According to statistics, during the current fiscal year (2010.8.1-2011.6.15), Pakistan exported 674,587 bags (115,000 tons) of cotton, during which 572,488 bags (9.7 million tons) were shipped.

In May, Pakistan imported a total of 20,960 tons of cotton, and this year (2010.8.1-2011.5.31) has cumulatively imported 283,613 tons.
